Pastoral Support Partnership Opportunity for International Social Care Recruits in North Central London

North London Councils (NLC) have secured a grant from the Department of Health and Social Care to address workforce challenges in adult social care. This initiative aims to support care providers in recruiting and retaining international residents within the North Central London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington.

We have commissioned PJ’s Community Services who will offer a tiered pastoral support offer to internationally recruited staff. They will provide tailored support for those who need it, addressing health and well-being, community integration, and peer support. Where necessary they will incorporate cultural orientation training to familiarise staff with local norms and customs.
