Kilburn Supported Walk with Kilburn Older Voices (KOVE)

A gentle supported walk for all to attend, following the path around Grange Park and ending with a hot drink and chat at either the Playhut inside the park or a local café. Carers are welcome to attend, pre-booking is preferred but not essential.

Bench to Bench London and Kilburn walks
Free
Various locations in London. Some longer walks focus on the trivia and history of some of London’s iconic areas. We meet at a pre-disclosed location, and travel via public transport. The walk/tour is facilitated by a walk leader with expertise in the area. Carers are welcome to attend, pre booking via text or email is preferred.

Social Walking Club
Castlehaven Community Association run the Age activity 60+ programme. There is an annual membership fee of £25 and the offer to try a class before you buy.
Explore beautiful places in London and the surrounding area at a leisurely pace. We meet at the community centre at 9:45 am and travel to our destination by public transport, so please bring your freedom pass. Our walking club goes on a walk every other Thursday to a variety of locations, such as Kew Gardens, Kingston, Ruislip Lido, and Battersea Park, to name a few.

Bangladeshi Women’s Walking Group

This is a popular Thursday morning walk for many of our Bangladeshi female members. They often bring a picnic to eat in the park. Walks are led by volunteer Walk Leaders Nasima and Shahana.

Regents Park Wellbeing Walking Group
Free to members; Yearly membership £10
Led by volunteer walk leaders Siew Kit and Eng Chaing, older people are invited to go on delightful walks in Regents Park. These walks are part of a national network that encourages physical activity among older adults. They are also an excellent way to introduce new members to the charity and offer a great opportunity to make new friends. Many people have already benefited from these walks and we hope to see more people join us soon. For all abilities. Booking is essential, carers are welcome to attends, and no booking is required. Appropriate footwear is advised.
