You can take household waste that does not fit in your bin, or things that you can’t recycle from home to Regis Road reuse and recycling centre.
For example:
- scrap metal
- broken or unwanted furniture
- electrical items
- oil
- light bulbs
- garden waste
As part of a new trial, the centre is now accepting hard plastics such as garden furniture, buckets and bins.

Opening times
Regis Road reuse and recycling centre is open every day between 9am and 4pm.
If you are coming with a van or trailer you will need to book your visit in advance.
If you have a disability, staff on site will be able to help you with unloading your vehicle.
If you do not have a disability, make sure you can carry your items by yourself, or with one person assisting you.
If you have large items that you are unable to carry, you can book a large item collection.
