Replacement housing for HS2

This is the improved Camden website. Tell us what you think.

What's happening with HS2 and housing

We’re building replacement housing for council tenants and resident leaseholders who are losing their homes to High Speed Two (HS2). These include residents in Silverdale, Eskdale and Ainsdale blocks on Regent’s Park Estate. There are also some in Cobourg Street and Melton Street. We have funding from HS2 to replace the homes.

The new homes, include:

  • 90 replacement homes
  • 11 council homes
  • 5 shared ownership homes
  • 10 private homes
  • facilities - like a new community hall, shops and shared gardens

We’ll also use 70 of the new Stanhope and Winchester apartments on Stanhope Street as replacement housing.
