Post 16 choices

Camden is home to Westminster Kingsway College and much of the University of London and other university colleges. These offer a diverse range of further and higher education courses.

Colleges run full or part-time programmes. They offer other courses and lecture programmes, weekend schools and workshops.

• Westminster Kingsway College. Further education and adult education college with two centres in Camden.
• Alexandra Centre. Camden’s new centre for young people aged 16 to 25 with profound and multiple learning difficulties or severe learning difficulties.

What you decide to do after Year 11 is important for your future. Your choices right now can affect how easily you get a job or continue your education later. At 16, you can either stay in full-time education or start working in a job that includes part-time education, such as an apprenticeship or training.
