Christmas tree recycling

Our Christmas tree recycling points will be open in the first two weeks of the new year, and we will have the final list of sites for January 2025 confirmed soon.

For Camden residents only - no unsold Christmas trees or commercial waste at any site.

Dumping your Christmas tree on the street is illegal and if you’re caught you could receive a £1000 on-the-spot fine for fly-tipping. It also makes it difficult for people to get by safely.

Other ways to get rid of Christmas trees

You can still take your tree to Regis Road Reuse and Recycling Centre.

Your real Christmas tree can also be collected:

Many Christmas tree sellers provide a take-back service too.

If you have the space,  buy a living tree in a pot that you can plant in your garden or keep  for next year.
