Activities at Camden sports and leisure centres
There are a number of sports and leisure centres in Camden providing a range of activities for children and young people.

Talacre Community Sports Centre
Term time activities for children and young people aged 3 to 11 years old
Term time activities are held at Talacre Community Sports Centre, run by the Camden Sports Development Team. The courses are held after school and at the weekend during term time. You can find out more about activities during the school holidays.
We recommend that you book onto the courses in advance so that you can be sure of getting a place. You will also get priority booking for the next term. All of the courses are booked by the term, not weekly.

Mini tennis
- 4 to 7 years old: 4 to 5pm on Fridays
- 8 to 14 years old: 5 to 6pm on Fridays

Trampolining
- 5 to 9 years old: 4 to 5pm on Thursdays
- 9 to 12 years old: 5 to 6pm on Thursdays
- 13 to 16 years old: 6 to 7pm on Thursdays
- 5 to 10 years old: 9 to 10am on Saturdays
- 11 to 16 years old: 10 to 11am on Saturdays
Trampolining courses are booked per term. You can find out about prices and fill in a trampolining booking form for these sessions.
The are also SEND trampolining development courses for children aged 5 to 14 years old. Sessions are on Sundays from 1 to 1.45pm or 1.45 to 2pm. You can find out about prices and fill in a booking form for the courses.
Table tennis
The table tennis course for children and young people aged 8 to 16 years old is on Thursday from 4.30 to 5.30pm.

Basketball
- 5 to 8 years old: 5 to 6pm on Tuesdays
- 9 to 16 years old: 6 to 7pm on Tuesdays
- 7 to 11 years old: 11am to 12pm on Saturdays
- 12 to 16 years old: 12 to 1pm on Saturdays
- Over 16 years old: 1 to 2pm on Saturdays

Volleyball
- Beginners: 3 to 4pm on Sundays
- Intermediate: 4 to 5pm on Sundays
- Advanced: 5 to 6pm on Sundays

Friday Night Project for 12 to 17 year olds
The Friday Night Project is free and held on the first Friday of every month from 7.45 to 10pm, at Talacre Community Sports Centre.
The Friday Night Project is led by a team of friendly, trained staff and volunteers who have extensive experience in working with young people. There are a variety of activities each week and may include:
- football
- basketball
- badminton
- table tennis
- trampolining
- dodgeball
- football free style skills
- boxing
- parkour
- dance
